Just as a gathering is a meeting of a larger Emmaus community, a reunion group is your own smaller,
personal group. Reunion groups are really the heart of the Emmaus movement and are designed as a weekly
get-together of friends with whom you can share your life in study, piety, and action. Reunion groups
are also for giving to others by way of support and your living example.
Three things are essential for a successful reunion group. The most important ingredient is that you have to attend whenever possible. Secondly, give it time to grow and nurture. And thirdly, be open, honest, and generous about your life in Christ. Excuses for not going are plentiful, but the meeting you miss may very well be the one at which you were needed most. There are links below (in no specific order) to help you find a reunion group in your area. |
