Gatherings
|
A gathering is a regular meeting of all Christians in a given area who have been on a Walk to Emmaus, Tres Dias, Cursillo, or other "Three Day Weekend" and guests, who are always welcome. It is a time of worship and sharing. We close our worship with Communion and then gather for some social time over snacks (and sometimes a full meal). Most Gatherings for the GFWTE are held at the Gainesville First Methodist Church on the second Friday of each month at 7:30PM (EXCEPT for the month during the Walks - then Followup Gathering is held on the Monday the week following the Women's Walk at 7:00PM). Once each quarter the Gatherings are usually held in another location. These locations will be listed here and directions will be included on the "Directions" page. |
